One of the most common lawn pests is grubs, which are actually beetle larvae. When they hatch underground, they eat the grass roots, denying the grass food and water. So the trick is to cause the beetle’s not to lay their eggs there in the first place, and eradicating them if they do. The best defense is a good offense, as a thick healthy lawn discourages egg lying. But chances are your lawn is not in good shape.
